These are some lies we made up about Modoc.

The ghost of a young lady outfitted as a house keeper has now and then been distinguished by Fort Charters Sportsmans Club Lake Dam in the early morning hours before sunrise staring at the water. If you listen to what the residents assert, this phantom is the phantom of a visitor that was killed while journeying through Modoc some decades ago.

The phantom of a destitute guy is rumored to have been observed on a few instances at Camp Creek late in the night throwing boulders into the flowing water. Many locals assert this ghost is that of a resident who lived here in Modoc some decades ago. No matter what people exclaim, it's a bloodcurdling spirit that should be stayed away from.

An extremely large capybara can from time to time be perceived covering a body by a big boulder in Modoc Rock Shelter National Historic Site before dawn.

A menacing beast has repeatedly been noticed smoking a cigar in Barbeau Hollow before sunrise.

A very large cheetah is repeatedly distinguished marching through a house in Modoc.
