A military uniform strolling around with no body in it has allegedly been perceived on many occasions in Louis M Jones Memorial Park before dawn hauling a dead body across the dirt.
The ghost of a civil war soldier can once in a while be spotted looking over Alkali Flat very late at night.

The spirit of a gentleman with a cross etched into his leg appeared trying to locate another ghost in Allyn Gulch after midnight. The phantom was consumed by the air after being perceived. Some of the folks who live here claim this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while passing through Rico long ago.
The spirit of an engine driver was noticed on the pinnacle of one of the mountains in the Rico Mountains after midnight sniveling. When perceived the ghost moved toward the onlooker who then fled. It's been said that this individual ghost is that of a local who settled here in Rico some decades ago. In any case, this is a nasty ghost that you would not want to meet before dawn.
