Dancing Girls of Robert Lee Texas: Some 20 years ago it was common knowledge that on the sandy beach at Lake Spence, one could see dancing girls. Several male friends and myself were lucky to have witnessed this grand show, on more than one occasion. However the show did not start until some time around 2AM, with a full moon, and heavy clouds. Also other conditions had to be met. The air tempture had to be 76 to 77.3 degrees; wind strong, over 20.3 knots and from the south. This was pretty much the requirement to observe the event. Also there was 11 girls from around the area and wore very skimp costumes.

There was one report, that I never did put much stock in. Someone said that a person had to have a certain amount of Kentucky mash whiskey on board to get a good view. .
