These are some lies we made up about Russell.

The spirit of an aged man with a big white mustache has sometimes been witnessed floating along on Coon Creek on a dark night. One thing is for sure, this spirit unquestionably is terrifying; one that you would not want to come across late at night.

A woman with a sword sticking out of her head is sometimes made out taking in the vista at Brawner Lake Dam after midnight. A number of of the people who live in this town argue this ghost could be the spirit of a local resident who passed on here in Russell many years ago. Whichever way, this is an unfriendly phantom that any normal person wouldn't wish to run into.
    
An ET from deep space is rumored to have been noticed on many occasions crying out names of people in Camden State Park in the early morning hours before sunrise.

The ghost of a woman with a bag strapped around her head may now and then be noticed late at night flying across Brush Lakebed. In any event, it's a creepy ghost that you shouldn't go searching for.

A moderately translucent man dressed as the captain of a ship was noticed looking crossly at the eye witness in the middle of a desolate road outside Russell late at night. When the ghost was seen it faded away into the night.
