The spirit of a civil war warrior was spotted on a dark night drifting along on Anderson Branch. When observed the ghost came within reach of the onlooker who then ran away. It has been claimed that this precise spirit might be a distinguished yesteryear local of Lyles. No matter what folks utter, it's undoubtedly a menacing phantom that should be let alone.

A large scary giant has often been perceived dining on a carrot in Patten Park around midnight.
    
A space invader is repeatedly distinguished washing a blood-splattered pair of pants in Bon Aqua Springs at the stroke of midnight.

A gigantic bison has purportedly been observed on one or two occasions up on Brown Hill reading a magazine.

Vincent van Gogh can often be noticed staring at the water by Cedar Crest Camp Lake Dam after midnight.

The ghost of a gentleman with a word etched into his head can be observed very often holding a human cranium by Blue Hole Bluff. If you listen to the locals, this ghost is possibly the undeparted ghost of a resident who used to dwell here in Lyles.
