I don't know anything about ghost catfish but I do know that lake Wateree has a huge large mouth bass. This bass is not to be believed because he swims around and around the banks of Wateree looking for catfish to eat.
If you go there early in the morning you can hear him calling here kitty kitty kitty.

At night on Lake wateree a huge fish ghost jumps up on the bank and looks for anyone with a fishing pole. I figure the catfish must grow legs as he walks from House to House looking for the next victim to eat as everyone knows catfish will eat anything but his favorite is a person especially if they are holding a fishing pole.
Morale of this ghostly story.... Don't fish with a pole and don't fish at dusk at Lake wateree.
