The ghost of a woman having half her head lost was witnessed in Bethel Village Historic District late at night hauling a corpse across the dirt. There have been several tales about this phantom in the neighborhood. Residents here declare that this ghost is in all probability the undeceased ghost of a resident who used to have a home here in Bethel. Whatever people state, it is certainly a scary ghost that is better not messed with.
The martian crew member of an alien spaceship came into view taking pleasure in the panorama at Bethel Mills Dam around midnight.
A character with a skeleton face dressed in murky robes was spotted hunting with a bow and arrow in Bethel Town Forest after midnight. Numerous folks in the neighborhood have had comparable sightings with an identical ghost. A local person asserts that this spirit is the stressed soul of a long dead Bethel local person.

Ghost Sightings From Bethel
Arthur was an experiencd pilot and had been warned that the runway they were landing on was very short so he was being extra careful. When the plane approached the runway it seemed even shorter than he had imagined. But he was a good pilot and he knew he could do this. He went down extra slow and touched the ground right at the edge of the runway. He applied maximum brakes, things were flying around in the cabin and the passengers were screaming in panic. But Arthur got the plane to stop an inch from the other edge of the runway. He turned to his co-pilot Delbert and said:
- That was the shortest runway I have ever seen in my whole life.
- Yeah, said Delbert, and look how wide it is.
Arthur's son Arthur Junior was saying his bed-time prayers and Arthur was listening in from behind the door, he finished by saying ''Bless Mom and Dad and Grandma, and Rest in Peace Grandpa.''
Arthur thought that was a strange thing to say since Grandpa was still alive and well. But the next day Grandpa died of a sudden massive heart attack. Arthur of course thought that was spooky but it was probably a coincidence.
But a few months later it happened again, Arthur's son finished his prayer with ''Bless Mom and Dad, and Rest in Peace Grandma''. The next day Arthur's mother-in-law died unexpectadly.
Old people die all the time figured Arthur, it's just a concidence.
But a few months later he overheard his sons prayer again, this time it ended with ''Bless Mom, and Rest in Peace Dad''.
This is bad thought Arthur. The next day he called in sick but didn't tell his wife Gertrude. He left the house very early before any other cars were out and drove very carefully to the nearest hospital. He sat down in the reception area and just sat there all day, he figured if he gets sick suddenly he'll have a better chance here at the hospital. He sat there until midnight and then he went home feeling very relieved.
- When he got home his wife looked very emotional. ''Where have you been all day I tried to call you at work, something horrible has happened. Your best friend Delbert got hit by a garbage truck and died.''.
