An extraterrestrial tourist from another planet was distinguished struggling out of Assekonk Swamp drenched in mud late in the night. An extraordinarily bloodcurdling spirit came into sight at Billings Lake Dam before sunrise taking pleasure in the vista. Other people close at hand have had comparable incidents with a similar ghost. The ghost of an aged female clutching a gun was witnessed by the shore at Billings Lake devouring a tomato. This ghost is extremely active in this area; there have been one or two other accounts of this exact ghost. If you listen to what the folks who live here allege, this ghost is that of a local resident who settled here in North Stonington some time ago.
